Before you begin looking for your home, you need to speak to a lender or mortgage broker to find out how much house you can buy and to ensure there are no surprises later on. In fact, many sellers require a letter from the lender stating you are qualified before an offer to buy will be reviewed.

You should get pre-qualified for a mortgage loan. Pre-qualification is a written statement from a loan officer indicating his or her opinion that you will be approved for a mortgage loan up to a certain amount. The fact that you are pre-qualified will help us when we are negotiating the deal.

During the closing period, you will be working with your mortgage lender to close the loan. Since you pre-qualified for the loan before starting your home search, you will be that much closer to the end.

After our initial meeting, I'll search all my resources for houses on the market that fit your criteria. I will set up a Portal, your own personal website where you can view all the homes for sale that meet the criteria you are looking for (such as location, size, etc.)

Once you've chosen the ones that you'd like to see, I'll schedule appointments to tour the houses at times convenient to you.
